St Louis Escorts: Woman abducted at UMSL, sexually assaulted
Police said the suspect then forced the victim to drive to a gas station on Natural Bridge and to go inside and withdraw money from an ATM. The victim called 911 from her cell phone while inside and the suspect drove the victim’s car from the scene.
St. Louis County police said the victim’s vehicle was recovered by Normandy police in the 3400 block of Lucas and Hunt around 6:00 a.m.
University officials said the campus is safe and they are discussing whether to expand security in and around the area.
School vice president Bob Samples said the university offers an escort service. Students can call and someone will walk them to their car or residence hall. And there are students here who say they do take advantage of that service.
