In 1775, “the shot heard ¤’round the world” was fired here in Massachusetts as patriots said “enough!” to the tyranny of oppressive rulers. The revolution for our American freedom was underway. The 2010 election of Scott P. Brown in Massachusetts, the bluest of blue states, will forevermore be know as “the Scott heard ¤’round the world.” Once again, the people are sending a message that will not be ignored.
The people are waking up to -out-of-control members of Congress who are dismissive of the very Constitution they are sworn to uphold. Americans are disgusted with so-called representatives that prostitute themselves and sell their votes by taking what amounts to flat-out bribes while openly mocking and laughing at the people. We’re tired of leaders no longer even pretending to listen to our voices. People voted for change and we got more lies.
