St Louis Strip Clubs: Harsh fitness instructor brushes off critics

One by one, starting at the front, they peeled off to the center of the room where they stepped up and down off the row of cinder blocks, moving sideways from one end to the other at rapid speed.
Occasionally, Jackson stopped to admonish a client.
“Lay yo’ (expletive) down,” he yelled at a woman who did a sit-up too soon.
Areshia Williams sat nearby watching her mother.
“I took his class yesterday. It tore me up, girl,” said Williams, 24, of Los Angeles, shaking her head. “I tell you, I thought I was in shape, too.”
Jackson, 48, who moonlights as a stripper, said he began working as a fitness trainer at a local gym about 10 years ago. He was certified by the International Fitness Association, though that certification lapsed last year, said a spokesman for the group.

St Louis Strip Clubs: Eleven in ‘11: Top local political stories of the year

Posted in St Louis strip clubs at 3:48 pm by strippertease

Kinder’s unkind year. Look no further than Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder for the top Missouri political story of 2011. The Republican’s presumptive nominee for governor had the wind at his back to start the year: a strong Republican showing in the 2010 midterm election foretold good things for his chances against Gov. Jay Nixon. But first came the revelations that Kinder, who once ran on the slogan “Every Dollar Counts,” charged taxpayers for hundreds of nights at St. Louis area hotels while he attended Tea Party rallies, a wedding and sporting events. After Kinder repaid the state $54,000 for his travel costs, he was forced to answer questions about his previous affinity for visiting a Sauget strip club. Kinder pulled the plug on his aspirations for governor days before a planned announcement in his hometown of Cape Girardau last month. During one round of damage control, Kinder used a line from a Dean Martin song to explain his “romantic attraction” to a dancer that he favored. He likely won’t be using another Rat Pack classic to describe his 2011 — for Kinder, it wasn’t a very good year.

St Louis Strip Clubs: WHAT OTHERS SAY: Gifts Missouri politicans should return

Posted in St Louis strip clubs at 3:00 am by strippertease

Peter Kinder: Missouri’s Republican lieutenant governor was the gift that kept on giving this year. He left his keys in the his car and two hoodlums stole it, set it on fire and rammed it into an ammo shop.
He was caught having spent tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars on fancy hotel rooms in St. Louis when he really wasn’t on state business. That was a wound to his political fortunes, but not as grievous a wound as his admission that as a state senator he frequented East St. Louis strip clubs, and that he just happened to have been photographed with his favorite former dancer while having a glass of wine one afternoon at a South St. Louis “pantsless” bar he blundered into while looking for a bathroom.

St Louis Strip Clubs: Joplin storm tops ranking of Mo. stories of 2011

Posted in St Louis strip clubs at 5:24 pm by strippertease

_ A tornado slammed into the St. Louis International Airport on April 22, but no one was killed or seriously hurt.
_ Police searched for Kansas City toddler Lisa Irwin, who went missing in early October. Her parents claimed someone snatched the baby in the middle of the night.
_ Gov. Nixon cited the Joplin tornado and flooding as part of the reason for more state budget cuts. State Auditor Tom Schweich later sued Nixon, alleging he had no constitutional basis to make the cuts.
Other stories gaining attention from editors in Missouri included moves by lawmakers to rewrite a new law imposing requirements on dog breeders, the repeal of a law restricting teachers from using Internet sites that allow exclusive access to students, and Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder’s exit from the governor’s race after he acknowledged that he had once been a regular patron at a strip club.

Mr. Kinder’s gubernatorial aspirations vanished like lost love. Our guess is that Mr. Kinder is hoping for a better year in 2012. One tip: Step away from the Twitter.

Posted in St Louis strip clubs at 10:12 pm by strippertease

Under the terms of today’s plea agreement, the charge surrounding the murder-for-hire of the sex victim was dismissed. The allegation that he wanted the prosecutor dead could be brought up in the sentencing phase, resulting in additional prison time. Prosecutors also agreed to dismiss a related indictment against Cook for being a drug user in possession of a firearm. A sentencing hearing will be scheduled after the completion of a pre-sentence investigation by the United States Probation Office.
Cook is the third defendant in this human trafficking case to plead guilty.
Co-defendant Dennis Henry, 51, of Wheatland, formerly the postmaster of Nevada, Mo., pleaded guilty to his role in the conspiracy to commit sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion. Henry also pleaded guilty to transporting the victim across state lines for sexual activity.
Henry admitted that he engaged in sex with the victim, and participated in torture sessions with FV that would last for hours. Henry saw pictures of FV’s vagina sewn shut, which he was told was a form of punishment. Henry also admitted that he visited FV at a Lebanon strip club where she was forced to work.

Anthony Matthews: Few Clues in Murder of Venice Official
Authorities in metro East St. Louis are at a loss to explain the murder of the Venice street superintendent over the weekend.
Anthony Matthews, 56, was walking out of his home around 7:30 p.m. Saturday for his part-time job as a security guard at a Brooklyn strip club when he was shot to death by an unknown assailant. The suspect fled on foot and then got into a vehicle waiting for him about a block away.
Police say no one they’ve interviewed regarding Matthews has had a bad word to say about the deceased. Yesterday Matthews’ grieving widow, JoAnn Matthews, told the Post-Dispatch the same.
“We weren’t having any trouble with anybody,” she said.
Anyone with information regarding Matthews’ murder is urged to call the Illinois State Police office at 618-346-3990 or CrimeStoppers at 866-371-8477.

St Louis Strip Clubs: Kirkwood Man to Change Plea in Sex-Trafficking Case

Posted in St Louis strip clubs at 7:00 pm by strippertease

Bradley Cook, a Kirkwood man who is among a group of six people accused of sex trafficking, is set to change his not-guilty plea, according to a story in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Bradley and the other five people were indicted on March 30 by a federal grand jury on charges that the group had abused a mentally deficient woman in the town of Lebanon, according to an FBI press release. The indictment alleges that the woman was sexually abused and tortured for several years and forced to work as an exotic dancer at local strip clubs.
Cook faces seven federal counts in federal court in Missouri’s western district, five of which said he tried to kill his accuser from prison through a hit man, according to the Associated Press account in the Post-Dispatch. Two of the other people accused in the case have pleaded guilty to charges of committing sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion.

St Louis Strip Clubs: Nelly and the St. Lunatics heat up winter

Posted in St Louis strip clubs at 10:24 pm by strippertease

Nelly commands attention, regardless despite his easy-to-dismiss lyrical subject matter (and videos that usually involve a lot of oiled up strippers). There’s just something about Nelly, and he is unarguably mainstream royalty. He is also a born-and-bred businessman with a number of forays, including Apple Bottom apparel and an energy drink with the charming title Pimp Juice. Despite a number of personal and artistic issues, he’s continued to churn out chart-toppers and collaborate with other big time artists. If anything, Nelly has done something right and continues to be doing that thing, whatever it may be.

Two tracks, “Pimp Juice” and “Tip Drill,” have been especially controversial and targeted for their misogynistic tones. The video for “Tip Drill” proved to be the biggest point of contention, however. It features dozens of oiled up strippers roving around a mansion while Nelly and his boys do their thing. This may be status quo in rap videos, except that in one notable scene Nelly swipes his credit card between a woman’s buttocks. This seemed to be the last straw for many women’s rights groups, and Nelly was swiftly vilified.
