Sarah moved there after a scented candle set her rented home ablaze (how could they tell it was scented, I wonder?) The former partners co-exist rather happily with their two daughters, who are in his custody.
Might it be treason to call Andrew a freeloader? The Royal Family is a weird anomaly because no member earns their place. There by blood alone, it’s a museum piece from the middle ages, after various ancestors bludgeoned and politicked their way to power.
Caroline Aherne’s The Royle Family sent them up beautifully but their survival owes most to Tony Blair, who recuperated the Queen’s image after Princess Diana’s death. And to Helen Mirren, who gave her the style and grace she lacked.
Sarah Ferguson married into this clan after being introduced to Andrew by her father Major Ronald Ferguson, whose wife had left him for some kind of South American polo player following years of his infidelities. He was also partial to massage parlours.

Another of her topics is “the road to an authentic life”, a concept that jars with being caught begging in a fake sheikh’s apartment.

Homicide Squad Detective Inspector Bernie Edwards said police believe the couple knew their killer or killers and that more than one person was involved.
“We believe at least, or possibly, two people were involved because two separate hand guns were used,” Insp Edwards said.
He also refuted claims the murder was linked to the gangland killings of that time.
Insp Edwards confirmed police were investigating two people of interest: businesses man Nihal York and a Thai woman only known as Superporn.
“We know Mr York visited the couple on that particular weekend and at this stage he may be overseas,” Insp Edwards said.
Police believe his wife still resides in Melbourne.
Insp Edwards said the Thai woman is believed to be in Sydney or overseas.
“We think she has been in similar industries of introduction agencies or massage parlours,” he said.

“He is a person of interest,” Det Insp Edwards said. “He’s given a statement before. We’re very keen to speak to him again.”
The Thai woman nicknamed “Superporn” was the last person to speak to Ms Nhonthachith over the phone before she was shot dead.
“She’s somebody we need to speak to clarify a few matters,” Det Insp Edwards said. “We’re very interested in what the particular lady discussed with Tina over the phone prior to Tina’s death.”
Superporn could now be living in Sydney and working in match-making services or massage parlours while Mr York, who had attended the couple’s barbecue the day of their deaths, could now be overseas.

But the official police and court records show that the woman alleged Cohen put a knife to her throat and pushed her head against the wall.
In their October 14 arrest report detailing the complaint from the 24-year-old woman, Chicago police noted they observed “mild abrasions from knife wound” on her neck. They also noted “minor scars on her hand from her trying to defend herself against the arrestee swinging the knife at her.” The report notes the woman was seen by ambulance personnel but not taken to a hospital.
The case was dropped a month later when the woman did not show up for a court date.
Also, public records show that the alleged victim, Scott’s 24-year-old girlfriend at the time, was a prostitute. Six months before the October 2005 incident, she had been arrested after a police investigation of a Glenview massage parlor. She later pleaded guilty to a charge of prostitution.
