St Louis Strip Clubs: Flogging Molly’s Bob Schmidt discusses tour, new record, and St. Louis

Posted in St Louis strip clubs at 12:24 pm by strippertease

B) Wow. There are so many I don’t know if I can think of just one off the top of my head.  A lot of great memories in each city.
S) Well, let’s narrow it down. I know you have played many shows in St. Louis, from the tiny Mississippi Nights to Pops, to The Pageant (where the concert will be on March 8) to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, as well as in store gigs at Vintage Vinyl. Does any St. Louis show stand out in particular for any reason?
B) Well, there is no place like Pop’s. A venue stuck out in the middle of nowhere, flanked on both sides by strip clubs and no restaurants anywhere, so your only option is to not eat, or eat at a strip club. And to me anyway, strip clubs are an example of futility at its finest. But the Pop’s shows were something else.

They said Doyle refused to allow witnesses to call for help, instead trying to revive Ward by placing frozen meat in his pants. Then, Doyle insisted that Ward was still alive and “just needed to sleep it off.” Others took Ward to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis about 12 hours later, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Doyle, 42, was convicted in U.S. District Court here Tuesday on three counts of distribution of heroin resulting in death, maintaining premises for distribution of controlled substances and distribution of crack cocaine to a person under the age of 21. He faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole; formal sentencing will be June 3.
Dozens of witnesses testified in the two-week trial that Doyle sold crack cocaine and heroin nonstop in 2008-09. Several prostitutes testified that Doyle encouraged them to bring their customers to him for drugs.

St Louis Adult Entertainment: Winter Opera Saint Louis: La Traviata

Posted in St Louis adult entertainment at 3:01 am by adultstlouis

If the elder generation could offer but one piece of advice to the younger set, it would be this: No one ever found happiness in shacking up with a whore. Well, not lasting happiness, anyway. Violetta is what the grandparents called a courtesan, and she’s very good at her profession. Alfredo is a young nobleman besotted with Violetta’s beauty and charm, and in short order he whisks her away from Paris and the life of kept women for a more honest existence in the country. But Giorgio, Alfredo’s father, comes calling one day to plead with Violetta to leave his son; Giorgio’s daughter is getting married soon, and the marriage is imperiled by Violetta’s past. What’s a woman in love to do — and why has her nagging cough returned at such an inopportune time? Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata is a tale of spectacularly romantic love blended with tragedy. Winter Opera Saint Louis presents La Traviata at 8 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Sunday (February 18 and 20) at the Saint Louis Woman’s Club (4600 Lindell Boulevard; 314-865-0038 or www.winteroperastl.org). Tickets are $35 to $150.

St Louis Escorts: St. Peters woman found not guilty in cyber harassment case

Posted in St Louis escorts at 2:24 am by stlouisgirl

Testimony showed that Thrasher’s alleged harassment happened during a relatively brief cyberspat on May 1, 2009, with the victim, Daniele Pathenos, now 19.
It was Pathenos who initiated contact with Thrasher via an e-mail that day.
In that heated exchange Pathenos called Thrasher a “fat f***king b**ch.”
Thrasher, in retaliation, took information from the girl’s MySpace page and posted it on the Casual Encounters section of Craigslist. She did so in a manner suggesting the teenager was seeking sex.
The information included the girl’s e-mail, work address, phone number and two photos of her. In addition, the post included the sentence, “I am friendly in a lot of ways.”
In testimony today, Marsha Corley, a detective with the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department cyber crimes unit, called Casual Encounters little more than a front for prostitution.

St Louis Escorts: Botched Abortion in St. Louis Shines Light on Planned Parenthood

Posted in St Louis escorts at 2:24 am by stlouisgirl

After several undercover videos were released showing Planned Parenthood working with pimps to provide under-aged girls with services, Christian groups started calling for defunding.
Now, new evidence has emerged that gives these groups more ammunition.
It seems emergency responders removed a patient from a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in St. Louis on Saturday morning and rushed her to the emergency room at Barnes-Jewish-Christian Hospital.
A witness, pro-life sidewalk counselor Marty Bennet, took more than a dozen photos of the dramatic incident as the woman was wheeled out the clinic and into an awaiting ambulance. Photos showed that the woman’s head was covered and that there was no IV bag or any other sign of ongoing emergency care. There was no evidence that any Planned Parenthood staff member accompanied her to the hospital.

St Louis Strip Clubs: Sex, solitude and survival

Posted in St Louis strip clubs at 7:36 am by strippertease

In their world, the word “ruined” means “useless for sex,” illustrated by Sophie, who was raped with a bayonet and left for dead.
For many, prostitution is a comparative walk in the park compared to the horror of their former lives. But while the subject matter is grim, the play’s spirit is not.
The New York Times called “Ruined” a “celebration of endurance.”
“Closer” (not like the Kyra Sedgwick  crime drama “The Closer” but as in “Come closer, my dear”) is a study in sexual betrayal. The Patrick Marber play opens Friday, Feb. 11 at St. Louis Actors’ Studio.
Over four-and-a-half-years, the lives of two men and two women — an obituary writer, a stripper, a dermatologist and a photographer — become entwined. Characters bump into each other — sometimes literally — on the street, posing for a book cover and online. Despite their quest for intimacy, they fail to get closer.

St Louis Adult Entertainment: Man gets 10 years for death after chase; victim’s family bristles

Court records show that Aikens has criminal convictions and at least 18 arrests on his record, including an arrest in 1994 in a murder case in which he was not charged.
Another Uplands Park officer, Kenneth Minner, also was charged with holding an Uplands Park commission without a license. Henry Smith, who was acting police chief there at the time of the crash, was charged with knowingly granting the commission of a police officer without a valid license.
Uplands Park, a village of about 400 people along Natural Bridge Road, has had several embarrassing incidents connected to its police department, including a jailer charged with assault, a former police chief accused of threatening to kill an officer, and an officer who was sentenced last month to 25 years in prison for sexually assaulting and robbing four prostitutes.

St Louis Escorts: Columbia Man Accused of Soliciting Sex from Male Teen

Columbia Man Accused of Soliciting Sex from Male Teen
COLUMBIA, IL (KTVI – FOX2now.com) —
Police say a 28 year old man from Columbia, Illinois tried to have sex with two local boys he found on Facebook, where he had more than fifteen hundred friends. Now police want every mom and dad in the St. Louis area to check their child’s Facebook account for Browne’s name.
“He had 1,512 friends on Facebook,” said Columbia Police Chief Joe Edwards. “We haven’t had time to sit down and try to identify all of them yet. To be quite honest, this department doesn’t have the resources to find 1,512 individuals. That’s why we need help.”
Edwards urged parents, especially those in Waterloo, Dupo, Millstadt, Madison County and South St. Louis County to check their children’s Facebook friend lists. If Roy Browne is on there, Edwards says police need to be notified.
