St Louis Strip Clubs: Dipshitius Maximus: Cast Your Vote for Ass Clown of the Year!

Posted in St Louis strip clubs at 5:24 pm by strippertease

It was a bountiful year in St. Louis with lots of stupid criminals, dozens of dirty rotten scoundrels and plenty of pompous politicians who delivered us scores of candidates for our Ass Clown of the Week competition.
But now it’s time to crown an official winner. You know, Ass Clown of the YEAR! So, without further ado, the nominees of 2010:
1. Matt Bartle: The conservative state senator from Kansas City won Ass Clown of the Week twice in the past 12 months. The first victory came in February when he proposed a law to regulate Missouri strip clubs and adult bookstores. His second win came in May when the bill passed to become state law. Bartle’s legislation — now in effect — prohibits any nudity and alcohol use at Missouri strip clubs (if you can still even call them that) and regulates their operating hours.

St Louis Adult Entertainment: Store selling adult-themed products ordered to close in Pevely

Posted in St Louis adult entertainment at 5:00 pm by adultstlouis

The conflict arises from a difference of opinion on exactly what type of store the boutique sets out to be. Pure Pleasure Boutiques offer lotions, lubes and lingerie items, or as Kleinhans described them, “marital-type aids.” Kleinhans, with his brother Jim and father, Don Sr., own Pure Pleasure Boutiques in St. Peters, St. Charles, Crystal City and Fairview Heights. The trio also own Pure Pleasure Supercenters, one of which is at 2626 North Broadway in St. Louis, where customers can peruse videos, lotions and sex toys, among other things.
The Kleinhans clan say their boutiques don’t cross the threshold where they must be considered an adult store.
Pevely City Administrator Happy Welch feels otherwise. And, he said, adult businesses in Pevely are supposed to be located in industrial zones rather than commercial zones, where the Pure Pleasure Boutique has opened.

St Louis Strip Clubs: Top 5 Potential Relocation Cities

Posted in St Louis strip clubs at 8:00 am by strippertease

Las Vegas, NV – Despite the fact that Vegas has a metropolitan area of over 2,000,000 people, there are a lot of reasons not to put an NBA team there. One concern is that with so much other entertainment on the strip available, season tickets and walk-up tickets might be a tough sell. Plus, with all the temptation around—gambling, strip clubs, etc.—it’s hard to see the NBA loving Sin City as a home location when so many less threatening and equally deserving cities could do just as well without all the potential hassle. Still, there are plenty of wealthy investors willing to take the financial gamble of bringing a team to Vegas because if it did work out, there certainly could be a lot of money to be made there. All it takes is money, of course, to make a city desirable, and there might not be a city on this list with a better chance to make tons of it than Vegas.

St Louis Adult Entertainment: Charges allege Uplands Park hired unlicensed officers

Posted in St Louis adult entertainment at 2:36 am by adultstlouis

Harlan Smith said all three men still worked for the village. Aikens is a bailiff but is on administrative leave because of the investigation into the crash and subsequent events. Henry Smith is a lieutenant with the police department but is on medical leave. Minner is a code enforcement officer.
Spokesman Mike O’Connell of the Missouri Department of Public Safety, which oversees the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission, said the charge against Henry Smith meant he could face punishment by the licensing board, including revocation of his police license.
Uplands Park, a village with only 460 residents on Natural Bridge Road, has had a police department for only about five years. But the department has been connected with a series of embarrassing headlines in its short history, including a jailer charged with assault, a former police chief accused of threatening to kill one of his officers and, last year, an officer arrested by the FBI on suspicion of robbing and sexually assaulting prostitutes — in the police station.

St Louis Adult Entertainment: Chesterfield rape suspect pleads to kidnapping, gets seven years

Posted in St Louis adult entertainment at 12:12 pm by adultstlouis

A judge noted that a Chesterfield Township man accused of kidnapping and raping a prostitute got a good deal when he was sentenced to nearly seven years in prison, but he won’t have to register as a sex offender.
In a case that has taken a few twists, Michael Ventrella, 34, was ordered Wednesday to serve 81 months to 16 years in prison after pleading no contest to kidnapping, with dismissal of a charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and conspiracy to do the same. He received 545 days of credit for time served in the county jail.

But Ventrella received a favorable ruling in sentencing guidelines factors, and prosecutors agreed to the deal based on the fact that the victim only wanted Ventrella to spend a relatively short time in prison and didn’t want him to have to register as a sex offender. He and the woman, a prostitute, had had prior contact.

Latasha Jewell McFarland, 27, was sentenced to five years in federal prison on Wednesday for persuading a 13-year-old runaway to become a prostitute. On Sept. 1, McFarland, of St. Louis County, pleaded guilty of interstate commerce to promote prostitution. Prosecutors said McFarland persuaded the girl to become a prostitute in 2009, posted pictures of the teen online, arranged for sexual encounters and brought condoms for the clients. U.S. District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Jr. pronounced the sentence.

St Louis Adult Entertainment: Sobbing Woman Sentenced In Sale Of Another’s Child For Sex

Posted in St Louis adult entertainment at 11:24 pm by adultstlouis

We attempted to talk to the woman convicted, Latasha McFarland, at her North St. Louis County home before she plead guilty. She shut the door while her young daughter peered outside a front window.
Attorney Robert Pedroli, who’s trying to help the victim’s family, described the tension Wednesday. He said, “This was a courtroom that was filled with a lot of emotion on both sides and it’s just a difficult situation and my clients actually feel sympathy for the family of the defendant and her child.”
Pedroli is also suing Backpage.com for aiding and abetting in child sex trafficking. Backpage insists it does try to eliminate illegal posts.
In today’s case, the Federal Judge sentenced Latasha McFarland to the maximum prison time under the conviction for prostitution — 5 years. She didn’t get more than that because the charge for trafficking a minor was dropped in the plea deal.
