First up, the sixth-seeded Tennessee Volunteers take on second-seeded Ohio State at 6:07 p.m. The second game, between the ninth-seeded Northern Iowa Panthers and fifth-seeded Michigan State Spartans, starts at 8:37 p.m.
The St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association (RCGA) expects fans of the teams to drop more than $16 million at hotels, restaurants and other establishments this weekend. And across the river in Illinois, nudie bars are also bracing for brisk sales.
“We usually have a large crowd that comes in on the weekends, but this weekend it should be even larger,” Jerry Wilson of the Penthouse Club informs Daily RFT.
Other strip-club operators agree.
“I’m sure we will see increased traffic,” says an employee of Hollywood Show Club.
Ed Thomas, of IEC Management (the parent company of five east side strip clubs, including PT’s and Roxy’s), says his company is doing a lot of promotion tonight around the Edward Jones Dome and expects big crowds all weekend.

As he finished giving evidence at the Old Bailey today Connor sobbed: “I’m responsible for what I’ve done. There’s no denying that. But it wasn’t intentional.
“It’s the worst thing I have ever done and I’m just really sorry for it.”
He said finally before leaving the witness box: “I wish he was still alive.”
Connor’s co-defendent, William Paton, aged 20, of Clarendon Way, St Paul’s Cray, also denies murder and robbery.
The pair are alleged to have plotted to rob wealthy Dr Gulamhuseinwala as he returned home from a night out at 4am on July 25.
CCTV footage shows Connor striking 32-year-old Dr Gulamhuseinwala with a 5kg metal railing and stamping on his head, before Paton is seen stealing the unconscious man’s wallet and mobile phone.
Connor has admitted to the court he and Paton spent £40 of the stolen cash to pay for a prostitute an hour after the attack.

Prosecutors claim Connor had flown into a rage after a prostitute stole £100 from him in Soho an hour before the attack on Dr Gulamhuseinwala.
The court heard this morning how Connor had told police in a taped interview: “I realised I had been robbed. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
“I was really pissed off about the whole thing.”
He went on to say he and Paton ended up in Green Park, “worked up” on cocaine and booze.
Connor said it was then he spotted Dr Gulamhuseinwala talking to his girlfriend on his mobile phone and grabbed a 3ft metal railing.

The court also heard Connor describe to police how he and Paton had visited a brothel after the attack.
He said the pair spent £40 of Dr Gulamhuseinwala’s money for 10 minutes each with a prostitute.

This morning a jury at the Old Bailey heard evidence from Connor’s best friend Alex Newell.
Mr Newell said he had been drinking in the Lloyds Bar and the Slug & Lettuce pub in Bromley town centre with both Connor and Paton, of Clarendon Way, on the evening of July 24 last year – the night before Dr Gulamhuseinwala was attacked.
He said while he went home to bed the other two men travelled to Soho by train.
The court heard that Connor and Paton, both aged 20, had partied at a nightclub until the early hours of the morning before withdrawing cash and hunting for prostitutes.
The prosecution has claimed the pair were then the victims of a scam when a man and a woman posing as brothel workers stole their money and disappeared.

They were quite drunk, Mr Vasco told the court, but his friend was a ‘charming man’ who would never get involved in any trouble.
William Paton and Thomas Connor, both 20 and of Orpington in Kent, are accused of killing Dr Gulamhuseinwala and stealing his money to pay for a prostitute.

Everyone should recognize that Woods’ adulterous affairs and his relationship with his wife are absolutely none of our business, but there are still some legitimate questions to ask.
Hey, Tiger:
Why did you crash into a fire hydrant and a tree just a few yards away from your house Nov. 27?
Why did you refuse to be questioned by the authorities?
Is there any explanation as to why your own wife would not be allowed to ride in the ambulance with you, as reported?
There are more questions, of course, none of which have anything to do with Woods’ relationship with his wife, alleged mistresses or a few prostitutes. But they are legitimate questions, nonetheless, the kind any past or present athlete – Alex Rodriguez, Michael Irvin, Deion Sanders, Jim Brown, McGwire, Darryl Strawberry, etc. – would have had to answer.

Nadim Gulamhuseinwala, 32, was beaten to the floor with an iron railing by two 20-year-olds who robbed him to pay for a prostitute, the Old Bailey heard.
He was speaking to his girlfriend Rebecca Bott on his mobile as he was struck by the 10kg bar in Green Park.
She told him how dangerous it was to walk through the park in the early hours.
He assured her he would take a taxi but said he was enjoying the night air and sounded happy.
He said he was jealous of me being in bed as he was tired. He started saying something else then there was two to three seconds of white noise. I just said hello, hello’ then the phone went completely dead, she said in a statement.
